Sonoma Technology, Inc. (STI) runs the Data Management Center (DMC) for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s AirNow program, which houses air quality data for over 2200 monitoring sites in the United States and around the world. AirNow provides the public and application developers with easy access to national air quality information online and via web services. Over 900 AirNow sites collect meteorological data that STI contributes to the National Mesonet. STI also contributes data from over a dozen upper-air instruments that it operates and maintains across the United States.

STI is an employee-owned consulting firm based in Petaluma, California, that delivers innovative, science- and technology-based solutions for our clients’ environmental challenges worldwide. Since 1982, STI has led projects throughout the United States and abroad that address diverse topic areas, including emissions inventory development, meteorological and air quality modeling, human health and exposure studies, data analysis, software development, and air quality and meteorological monitoring.
